Everyone, and i mean everyone has to at least seen the movie Selena. And if i say so for myself, Jennifer Lopez did a fantastic job playing her role. A few weeks ago before this shirt hit the stores of Forever 21, i saw it on twitter and so i waited patiently for it to arrive. The only way that i was able to get first dibs on this shirt is because i work at Forever 21, i am what they call a "Visual Associate", so if you ever wonder who does those fabulous tables or puts the new merchandise on the floor. Well, that's me. Finally, i see a full size run of the Selena shirt and i just had to buy it. I did pair it with another Forever 21 item, a black leather skirt with a zipper on each side. This is a type of outfit i would wear to a bar or a club, so that's why i paired it with my black ankle strap heels, i got these from the A'gaci shoe store, luckily my size was the only one left.
Its a shame for my generation to have not been able to see her in person or to have been able to go to one of her concerts. She is definitely a music artist that i most inspire. As her anniversary of her death comes up, this is a dedication for her. Rest in Peace Selena.
